What are the terms and conditions of hire?

For a detailed list of our hire terms & conditions, please see campervanescapes.wales/terms-conditions/.

What is the specification of the vehicle I will be hiring?

We currently have one campervan. A full list of vehicle features can be found at https://www.campervanescapes.wales/vw-campervan/

Can I take the vehicle out of the UK?

The feasibility of this depends on several factors, including your destination, the duration of your trip, and the expected mileage.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes, you must be between 25 and 75 to hire a vehicle from Pembrokeshire Camper Hire.

Are you open on Bank Holidays?

No, Pembrokeshire Camper Hire is closed on Bank Holidays – we’re also shut on Sundays and key holidays including; Christmas Day,
Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. This does not stop you from renting a camper van on these days, provided the booking does not begin or end on these days.

Can I add additional drivers?

Yes! You may add additional drivers provided they are between the age range shown above (there is a small charge for this service).

I cannot find my driver’s license, can I still hire?

Yes, we will need an officially issued ID (such as a passport), along with a recent bank statement or proof of address. We will need to
contact the DVLA to check your license details (there is a charge for this service).

The address on my license is not where I live now, can I still hire a camper?

Yes! Provided you have other ID, such as bills or bank statements and they are dated within the last 3 months.

Are there any restrictions in regards to my driving license?

Any drivers of the vehicle must have no more than 6 penalty points on their license, never resulting in a ban of any length of time.

Am I able to hire a camper van if I am unemployed?

Unfortunately we cannot rent a vehicle to unemployed persons at this time.

Can I leave my car with you while I rent a camper van?

Sure! You may leave your car with us while you are away, our car park is monitored 24/7 with high definition CCTV for your peace of mind.

Will I be shown around the camper before leaving?

Of course! We will give you a detailed induction around the vehicle. Fully trained staff will be on hand to answer any and all questions you may have, including how to operate all of its features to ensure you get a hassle free, relaxing holiday.

Is there anything in particular I will need to bring with me?

You are required to bring your own bedding. However, we do provide certain items upon request, including a camping frying pan and spatula, a hob kettle, plastic cutlery, plates, and bowls, as well as a camping toilet.
